Farm’s generally house a lot of animals… too many to board off site and many that have no place to go if the guardians wanted to board them. And finding a qualified and experienced farm hand isn’t the same as just hiring a “pet sitter.” You need, want, and deserve a caregiver that knows what they are doing and what to look for if something goes wrong. You also need someone physically fit enough to handle the day-to-day tasks of running a farm. This is where “live-in on site farm hand” comes in.
Our Manager and resident “farm hand” Linda Ross is a Fear Free® Elite Certified Professional with additional certifications in Fear Free® Equine and Avian studies. Part of her life saw her growing up on a mini-farm with cows, dogs, chickens, ducks, horses, and more. She competed in horse shows and raised 4H chickens.
She arrives on site as a temporary farm hand bringing all the things she needs to cover her basic necessities while she is living in your home and taking care of the day to day tasks of running your farm.
